Our story is deeply personal—rooted in love, resilience, and the desire to make life a little easier for those facing life’s toughest battles. It began with two cousins who needed port access clothing—one for dialysis, the other for chemotherapy. Finding a lack of practical, comfortable options, we decided to take matters into our own hands, crafting handmade shirts tailored specifically to their needs.
When the cousin undergoing chemotherapy—a retired Seabee—encouraged us to share these shirts with the world, we knew we had a mission. Inspired by the Seabee motto, “Construimus, Batuimus” (“We build, we fight”), we founded Batuimus. Our brand name reflects the spirit of building solutions and fighting challenges, just as our cousin did throughout his naval career and personal journey.
Our logo pays tribute to him—honoring his service as a Seabee and his unwavering faith. It embodies the strength, courage, and care that define everything we create at Batuimus.
